Annual B B Q
   

A very good turnout of Members and Friends of L.O.O.N.S attended the Annual B B Q and Petanque Competition held at the Aberdeen Grammar F P Club.

Wheelchairs Donated to Hospital
   

Whilst attending a recent Visit to Ward 36 for a personal check up, LOONS Chairman was delighted to be able to present to Mary Duguid (OT’s Department) and Ward 36 two new Wheelchairs and Showerchairs.

Denise Webster - staff nurse; Susan Bowers - auxillary nurse; Evalyn Wilson - ward manager; Mary Duguid - occupational therapist and Karen Duncan – physiotherapist…….and with Mary Thanking LOONS for their kind Donation.

LOONS will also be involved in raising £ 40.000 for a new piece of Ultrasound equipment to treat stump pain and leg ulcers.

10K Cash
   

A young local lad -  Kevin McBeath Esq - ran the recent Baker Hughes 10k in aid of LOONS. In Memory of an old school pal, and accepted an Invitation to gather a group of Friends to enter next year’s Race on LOONS’ behalf.

LOONS Members – Gavin Slessor, Fiona, Kelly and Graeme Cumming also ran the Race.
